The Hellenic Direct Selling Association (HDSA) is the national trade association of the leading firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers.

DIRECT SELLING is the marketing of consumer goods and services directly to consumers on a person-to-person basis, generally in their homes or the homes of others, at their workplace and other places away from permanent retail establishments.

Direct selling typically occurs through demonstration and explanation or by direct sellers and is a form of non-store retailing.

Direct selling is practiced all over the world as a respected sales method and is NOT part of pyramid schemes.

HDSA is a non-profit organization based in Athens, representing the direct selling industry in Greece.

The Association's mission is "To protect, serve and promote the effectiveness of Member Companies and the independent business people they represent. To ensure that the marketing by Member Companies of products and/or the direct sales opportunity is conducted with the highest level of business ethics and service to consumers."

Our objectives are:

• to increase the awareness and recognition of direct selling industry in all its organizational forms as an important and recognized channel of distribution within Greece
• to ensure a fair commercial and legislative environment in which direct sales companies can operate, while enhancing the best interests of consumers to support and aid the association members in conducting business
